The Problue Annual Posters stand out due to their unique concept of blending fashion and diving. The design aims to depict the easy merge of diving life and daily life. The posters feature models in stylish clothing and diving suits, creating a harmonious yet contrasting image that captures the essence of a diver's lifestyle.
The realization of this design involved a creative use of the brand colors - gray blue for elegance and red for charm. The contrast between sporty and stylish is strongly emphasized, with the camouflage fins highlighting the urban jungle's dynamic nature. The scarf in the shape of a dolphin and the newspaper moving like a jellyfish provide subtle hints of the ocean.
The design process was a careful balance of various contrasting elements - fast and still, daily wear and diving suit, smooth and sharp, hero look and elegance. The project, which started in June 2019 and concluded in November 2019 in Taiwan, involved extensive interviews with coaches and divers to understand their attitude towards fashion underwater.
The main challenge faced by the design team was maintaining the perfect ratio of all contrasting parts. The final design, measuring W 420mm x H 594mm, successfully encapsulates the Problue brand essence - diving and living. The transition process of clothes in style and diving suit on the same model emphasizes the merge of diving and life.
The Problue Annual Posters have been recognized for their creativity and innovation, winning the Silver A' Photography and Photo Manipulation Design Award in 2020. This prestigious award is given to designs that demonstrate outstanding expertise, innovation, and artistic skill, introducing positive feelings, amazement, and wonder.
